SAI DK ENGINEERING & PROJECT PVT LTD started by its Managing Director who started his carrier as a mechanical engineer in 1993 and served so many reputed steel companies (UMIL Jamshedpur, AML Rourkela, RML Kharagpur) at very responsible post and got very vast experience of operation, maintenance and project work of iron, steel and power plants & left the service in the year 2010 from senior most post and started own business in partnership of another company JCPL and executed so many big projects of structural and piping work. In JSPL ANGUL executed structural fabrication and erection work of CPP, MHS, CGP, DRI, LDP, PM & O2 plant all together quantity 50000MT & in Monnet Ispat Energy Ltd. executed structural fabrication and erection of MHS & SMS – 6000MT and Piping work of SMS & Bar Mill – 170inKm at RAIGARH from 2011 to June, 2013.
However we started separate company on the name SAI ENGINEERING from July, 2013 and diversified our business in this company apart from project work, company started to provide operation and maintenance services.
The company bagged its first project associated with the operation and maintenance (Mechanical & Electrical and Instrumentation) of Blast Furnace and SINTER plant of SPS JHARUSUGUDA ODISHA. The company’s contract was for the operation and maintenance and housekeeping of Blast Furnace and Sinter Plant, after that bagged various contracts of operation and maintenance & housekeeping in various plants (Jindal Steel and Power Limited, Angul Odisha, TATA BSL ANGUL ODISHA, Aditya Alumina Plant Lapanga, Jharusuguda Odisha, Monnet Ispat Ltd. Raigarh Chattisgarh, Concast India Jhurusuguda Odisha,Pump Seal Engineers for Aditaya Alumina Lapanga unit etc.) of Raw Material Handling Plant of Steel Plant (JSPL), Coal Handling Plant of Power Plant -135MW X 6Units at JSPL ANGUL, Coal Handling Plant of Power Plant -210MW X 2Units at OPGC JHARUGUDA, Coal Handling Plant of Power Plant -210MW X 2Units at NTPC JHAJJAR, RMHS of NMDC JAGDALPUR CHATTISGARH executed and executing successfully.
When M/S SAI ENGINEERING was expanding in between incorporated a new company M/S SAI DK ENGINEERING & PROJECTS PVT. LTD registered on Dated- 15/05/2021 and M/S SAI ENGINEERING merged in M/S SAI DK ENGINEERING & PROJECTS PVT. LTD., now all assets, working experience, completion certificates, and statutory documents of M/S SAI ENGINEERING is part of M/S SAI DK ENGINEERING & PROJECTS PVT. LTD.

The general philosophy is to operate and maintain the system which provide documentary evidence that the work has been executed to the issued specification and were any departure from this has been made that is recorded and approved.
M/S SAI DK ENGINEERING& PVT LTD is committed to apply total quality management systems within its business to meet the requirements of the client as described below:
- Periodic reviews of the performance of the processes within respective areas. When planned results are not achieved, correction and corrective measures is taken, as appropriate, to ensure conformity.
- Document control, process control, quality checkpoints, inspection, constant monitoring of work quality with work safety and effective operation and maintenance management.
- Continually improves the effectiveness of the quality management system through the use of quality policy, safety policy, objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective and preventive actions and management review.
Safety Programme
The company maintains and observed a rigorous safety program. A permanent safety inspector is employed working directly under the operations manager and alongside the project managers to oversee and enforce safety in the project sites.The company has not incurred a single loss of man hours due to accidents during the entire period of its operation till now. Safety standards are always upheld. Protective clothing is issued, and its use is made compulsory. In addition, any safety regulation applicable on its various sites is fully complied with and enforced.
The company lives by its standards: Safety promotes awareness, prevents accidents and improves performance.
It is our objective and requirement for the project which are set out below:
- Zero accidents.
- Zero environmental incident.
- All activities to be carried out in accordance with the standard safety working practice and procedures.
- All employees and contractor’s visitors assigned to the project are responsible for their own safety and for those around them.
- Where specific risks have been identified, the project manager will formally evaluate the risk providing assessment ensuring that these constraints are effectively communicated to all personnel executing the work.
- In the event of any accident prompt action will be taken in addressing the situation.
- Regular safety toolbox meeting will be held with the workforce.
- Proactive approach to safety management to be adhered to at all times
- Maintaining clean and tidy site is of the utmost importance.
